Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing first- and second-level technical support to arenaflex crewmembers. You'll work closely with our IT disciplines to resolve complex technical issues, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain accurate records of all support requests. Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for all arenaflex equipment and applications, including communication and mobile devices
- Deliver exceptional on-site and remote customer service to arenaflex crewmembers
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support requests
- Screen and support systems to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and updates
- Work with software package rollouts and support
- Collaborate with all Data Innovation (IT) disciplines
- Attempt to achieve first-contact resolution for all issues
- Maintain documentation of support requests per arenaflex standards
- Update and refresh information base documentation with the most up-to-date information
- Organize response for significant events and outages
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Work Environment and Culture
As a member of our team, you'll be based in Montego Bay, Jamaica, with regular visits to Kingston, Jamaica. Essential Qualifications
* Secondary School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate
- Experience supporting the latest operating systems or successful completion of the IT for Everybody certificate through Coursera
- Experience implementing and supporting applications
- Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%)
- Possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US
- Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US
- Experience using desktop software packages
Preferred Qualifications
* Certifications (Microsoft, Networking, programming languages)
- Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products
- Knowledge of Trade and Office Suite
- Knowledge of LAN environment using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
- Knowledge of communication, messaging, and network (VOIP and POTS)
- Knowledge of mobile devices
- Knowledge of MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune
- Knowledge of General media solutions
Crewmember Assumptions
* Regular attendance and reliability
- Possible need to work flexible hours and be available to respond without prior notice
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- While working or traveling on arenaflex flights, and if time allows, all fit crewmembers are expected to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
- Should be a proper fit for the arenaflex culture, or at least, display the arenaflex values of Health, Mindfulness, Honesty, Energy, and Fun
- Advance arenaflex's #1 value of safety as a Safety Representative, supporting arenaflex's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Strategy, and social principles
- Identify safety or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them promptly and without hesitation using arenaflex's confidential reporting systems (Avionics Safety Activity Program (ASAP), JEMS or Security Activity Report (SAR))
