Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, managing high call volumes, and assisting with appointment scheduling, account status inquiries, and patient outreach.
  • Routing incoming calls from patients, physicians, and other departments following established guidelines.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments according to set scripts and protocols.
  • Providing general services, including facility directions, handling departmental mail, and offering information on additional services such as Membership Services and Pharmacy.
  • Verifying insurance eligibility, updating demographic information, and managing provider selections and special needs.
  • Coordinating referrals, tracking specialty care processes, and ensuring efficient patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and generating reports as needed using various computer programs.
  • Utilizing critical thinking and communication skills to resolve issues and deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Healthcare Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and using multiple computer screens simultaneously.
  • Experience with HealthConnect is a plus.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attendance, especially during the first 90 days, is essential.

Work Schedule

As a Healthcare Call Center Representative at arenaflex, you'll be required to work a variety of shifts, including:

  • Primary Care Team: Shifts between 5 am - 8 pm, Sunday to Saturday (availability for weekends required).
  • Specialty Care Dermatology Team: Shifts between 7:45 am - 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend work).
