Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a 03+ months contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work from home and collaborate with our team members remotely. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into electronic formats, interacting with customers, and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a data entry device to input lists, records, or other data points into an electronic format
- Analyze data to ensure accuracy and completeness, using analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Interact with customers to gather information and resolve queries
- Review and decipher plant maps to determine the necessary data to be entered
- Enter data into electronic formats, using attention to detail and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using data entry software and systems
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or its equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems, such as Skils-Data and Transcript
- Experience working with plant maps and deciphering data
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues
