Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual, business, and corporate tax returns with precision and compliance to current regulations
• Analyze financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and bookkeeping records using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Offer expert guidance on tax deductions, credits, and planning strategies to optimize client savings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings and compliance
• Assist clients with financial concepts, analysis skills, and understanding of complex tax issues in a clear and approachable manner
• Utilize technical accounting skills to review financial data, perform calculations involving 10 key typing accuracy, and ensure data integrity
• Promote financial software solutions and accounting tools to clients while supporting their bookkeeping needs
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally while fostering trust and long-term relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or related financial roles with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
• Solid knowledge of financial concepts including analysis skills, corporate accounting practices, and bookkeeping procedures
• Demonstrated ability to perform math accurately under pressure and handle detailed analysis tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
• Experience in marketing or sales is a plus for promoting services effectively within the community or client base
• Strong technical accounting background combined with analysis skills to interpret financial data accurately
• Ability to work independently on a commission-based structure while maintaining high motivation levels

There is ample opportunity for more pay as it is dependent upon you work ethic and ability to market yourself for new clients! I am in search for tax preparers with at least 1 season of experience however we are willing to teach and train to help develop your career!
