The Associate, Customer Acquisition role is a critical component of our sales strategy, focusing on demonstrating the value and benefits of our products and services to customers, with a primary emphasis on selling and renewing contracts. As a sales professional, you will work within a dedicated territory and team to achieve revenue-based quotas, provide accurate sales forecasts, and master product knowledge to assess client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a dedicated territory and team for your assigned client to achieve your revenue-based quota by selling renewals/services and identifying up-sell opportunities
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Mastery of product knowledge and technical understanding of services to assess client requirements and deliver personalized solutions
  • Initiate steps to address customer concerns and roadblocks, ensuring timely resolution and enhanced customer satisfaction
  • Manage external competitive pressures and handle objections to retain customers and win new business
  • Manage a high volume of customer contacts through phone and email, with a focus on outbound communication and proactive engagement
  • Collaborate with your team and management to provide a professional experience during all interactions with customers and prospects
  • Maintain the customer management system (CRM) to ensure all relevant data is captured and leverage insights to inform sales strategies
  • Undertake sales motions, including lead qualification, lead conversion, health checks, and renewing contracts, to drive revenue growth and customer expansion

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will possess a unique blend of sales, customer service, and technical skills, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer service or sales capacity, with a proven track record of achieving personal and team sales quotas/goals
  • Prior success in high-volume calling and experience learning new technology and data to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address customer concerns and objections
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs and experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
  • Experience or willingness to work from home, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • The ability to commute to Nashville, TN hub, with a strong preference for candidates with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment
