Position Summary...
Walmart is building a retail-integrated, convenient, reliable, and affordable Retail EV Charging Network. Join a high-growth team within the world’s largest retailer to define and scale a retail-integrated fast-charging experience. This role (Senior Manager, Business Development) will focus on driving growth via strategic customer engagement. The Walmart Energy Transformation team is a newly reimagined group reporting to the COO of Walmart US and the Chief Sustainability Officer, focused on achieving Walmart’s regenerative energy goals. Comprised of seasoned energy veterans, the team collaborates across various Walmart departments to support decarbonization efforts. They are innovators and change agents with diverse backgrounds in utilities, banking, clean energy consulting, and more.This position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Strategy and will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas. A full relocation package can be made available, but we are not considering remote applicants at this time.What youll do...
- Develop and activate insights-driven customer engagement strategy to drive acquisition and retention, partner cross-functionally to execute
- Drive incremental targeted digital and physical engagement with customers
- Develop processes to ensure the voice of the customer is represented in key strategic decisions to enhance the customer journey
- 5+ years in strategy, user-centric design, program management, marketing, communications, or similar high-growth commercial role
- Proven ability to translate complex business objectives and disparate data into clear, actionable data-driven strategy
- Experience navigating a matrixed organization and building consensus across diverse internal stakeholders while building strong cross-functional relationships grounded in trust and shared vision
- Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) and experience with visual storytelling; a sense of creativity and eye for design highly desirable
- A customer-first, service-oriented mindset, combined with a passion for innovating the customer experience across all channels and platforms
- Bonus: proficient in EV charging and energy domains
