Key Responsibilities
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. Your primary objectives will include:
- Providing customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium
- Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
- Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance
- Making appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes
- Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC
- Utilizing knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
- Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies
- Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner
- Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
- Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer
- Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information

What We Need from You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
- Property and Casualty insurance license required
- Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Work Schedule
As a remote Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll work a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, with rotating Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
