Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Managing a steady volume of incoming calls from customers while navigating multiple systems
  • Providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding their insurance, benefits, billing, and prescription-related inquiries
  • Resolving complex issues, including technical challenges and time-sensitive situations, in a calm and composed manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy
  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible scheduling
  • High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment
  • Ability to complete a 3-week virtual training class with a 100% attendance record

Preferred Qualifications

* Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare-related setting

  • Experience with multiple systems and software applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams
  • Familiarity with healthcare-related terminology and concepts
