Key Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Customer Support Representative with arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing advanced technology, including our modernized retail location framework, to manage customer transactions and resolve issues efficiently
  • Processing payments, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, and balancing daily transactions
  • Managing overage or lack, and ensuring that all customer transactions are accurate and up-to-date
  • Inspecting luggage and freight, answering phone calls to provide information, paging customers, resolving issues or objections, and assisting on a case-by-case basis
  • Managing exchanges to load the aircraft in a timely and efficient manner
  • Managing misused customers due to oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolving such issues quickly and within established company guidelines
  • Providing current and accurate information on charges, schedules, reservations, flight arrival/departure times, and answering general inquiries from customers and other airport guests
  • Completing forms and reports as required by the company
  • Writing anomaly and complaint reports as needed
  • Performing other work duties as directed by supervisors

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job
  • Ability to understand records, follow guidelines, learn, and comprehend tagging methodology, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to complete the Customer Support Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
  • Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve fast turnaround of aircraft
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in-person, and on public location systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information and guidelines verbally or through radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working in a call center or customer support role
  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
