The Innovation Office
The Innovation Office is the heart of arenaflex, where we drive innovation and excellence in everything we do. As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, you'll have the opportunity to work with our talented team of experts to develop and implement new ideas and solutions that will take our business to the next level. Group Stage QMO
The Quality Management Office (QMO) is a critical component of the Innovation Office, where we focus on ensuring the quality of our applications and systems. As a QMO team member, you'll work closely with our Case teams (Scrum Expert, Engineer, Product Owners) to test and validate our applications, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. You'll also be responsible for tracking progress and providing insights to our stakeholders, helping us to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Client and Business
The Southwest Getaways (SWAV) team is a fast-paced and highly focused business unit that's driving innovation and growth in the aviation industry. As a member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the air business and the travel industry as a whole, and contribute to the development of new products and services that will take our business to the next level.
Obligations and Responsibilities
As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with business clients to conduct requirements analysis and develop quality technical solutions
- Ensuring that solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and departmental guidelines
- Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and executing to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Acting as a liaison to ensure effective communication between business and Innovation teams
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
- Extending your work to include various group projects as needed
Abilities, Capabilities, Information, and Work Style
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement
- Essential knowledge of technical environments
- Openness to Agile methodologies
- Essential understanding of project management procedures
- Critical thinking and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Past investigator internship experience within the past year
- Experience solving business problems in a capstone or case competition
- Ability to work in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, and empathetic
