[Remote] Associate Attorney- Remote, VA

Fox Point Recruitment LLC is a rapidly growing regional Creditors Rights law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to oversee legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies. The role requires delivering high-quality legal representation while managing a high-volume caseload and communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills
• Handles high volume caseload and provides expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks
• Negotiates with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases
• Willing to travel to various courts within the state of Virginia, if needed, as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings
• Works with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results

Skills

• 0-3 years experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation, attending court proceedings and associated regulations
• J.D. from an accredited law school with an Active license to practice law in VA
• Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding Time Management skills
• A license to practice law in other states in our footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus but not mandatory
