The Role As a Lead Pharmacy Technician in our Front End department, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting our front-end pharmacy technician team. You will work closely with our senior technicians to coordinate daily production, troubleshoot and resolve workflow issues, and partner with pharmacy leaders on team training plans. Your expertise in data entry, customer service, and automation will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Day in the Life As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of exciting challenges and opportunities. Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation * Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions * Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed * Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws The Team and Rewarding Benefits Our Omnicare team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our customers in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * Verifiable High School Diploma or GED * Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law * One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician Preferred Qualifications While not required, we encourage candidates with the following skills and experience to apply: * Prior experience in the long-term care industry * PTCB National Certification Education * Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: $18.50 Maximum: $34.60 Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
