Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Risk Management and Business Process Improvement to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business procedures and risk management solutions, utilizing business or consumer department data. You will collaborate with technology and other groups on the integration and execution of risk management approaches and business processes, identifying and assessing new data sources that can add steady productivity to our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate structured and unstructured data and interpret information using statistical, financial, AI, or business intelligence methods
  • Collaborate with technology and different groups on the integration and execution of risk management approaches and business processes
  • Identify and assess new data sources (controlled and non-controlled) that could add steady productivity to arenaflex's products and services
  • Use industry and internal best practices and incorporate regulatory feedback on a case-by-case basis to drive continuous improvement in risk management techniques and systems
  • Develop and implement business process improvement strategies, driving business change and reengineering systems
  • Lead project management initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. You should also have experience in risk management, data analysis, and business process improvement, with a strong understanding of statistical and financial modeling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in risk management, interpreting complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences, and working with technical, scientific, business, and non-technical teams
  • Experience with MS Excel for financial and data reporting and modeling, as well as Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix
  • Project management experience, driving business change, and reengineering systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
