Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Starting as a basic CSR Phone Agent, with the opportunity to transition to making calls on early stage delinquencies
- Collecting payments on live and terminated accounts via phone pay, quick collect, and letters, using excellent customer service skills
- Negotiating payment solutions when customers need assistance, and following up on pending actions or expired payment arrangements
- Providing excellent customer service while handling incoming calls from external and internal customers, with a focus on phone courtesy
- Managing a queue of assigned accounts, and performing skip tracing activities to locate customers and collateral when necessary
- Collaborating with internal and external groups to resolve escalated customer issues and/or complaints
- Offering feedback and recommendations on process improvements and training materials
- Maintaining corporate standards and compliance requirements
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Collections environment, with a focus on the automotive industry a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Familiarity with the automotive industry, including lease end charges, mileage, wear and tear, property tax, and deficiency balances
Preferred Qualifications
