Job Type and Pay Rate
This is a temporary position with a pay rate of $16.00 – $17.00 per hour. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and growing team.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Searching for additional information for documents that are deemed incomplete
- Checking completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product
- Confirming, corroborating, and removing unnecessary data, or combining data from several sources
- Exploring the internet for information
- Preserving detailed records of tasks, files, and progress
- Investigating reports and sheets of data
- Entering information into spreadsheets, databases, and customer relationship management systems
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Typing Speed: 35+ words per minute experience required
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively
- Computer Skills: Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
- Location: Must live in Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a data entry or administrative role
- Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
