REMOTE ROLE IN THE USA Role Overview The Senior People Operations Analyst is a global role responsible for driving operational excellence, compliance, and process improvement across People Operations functions in the US, EMEA, and Canada. As a subject matter expert in HR operations, compliance, and audit processes, you will ensure our practices meet regulatory requirements, support key employee lifecycle events, and deliver a best-in-class experience for candidates, employees, and external partners. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll lead critical programs, optimize SOPs, and support Tekion’s mission to provide an extraordinary workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a high-touch, positive experience for all candidates and employees through smooth, accurate People Operations processes.
  • Own and continuously improve onboarding, offboarding, and contingent worker processes—focusing on compliance and a seamless experience, including supporting the Partner contractor lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to document and optimize PeopleOps SOPs, driving operational efficiency and standardization.
  • Lead I-9 audit and compliance activities in the US, and ID audit in EMEA, ensuring complete, accurate, and Workday-tracked documentation.
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audit requests, including SOC audits, for EMEA, US, and Canada.
  • Lead Tekion’s annual employee acknowledgment process and support statutory reporting (including EEO and Pay Data Reports in California).
  • Provide hands-on support for hire-to-retire processes for EOR employees in EMEA, ensuring every transition is compliant and employee-focused.
  • Act as the primary liaison for immigration matters , supporting visa/work authorization cases.
  • Oversee and lead employee relocations, ensuring compliance, coordination, and a positive employee experience throughout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6–8 years of measurable experience in People Operations.
  • Proven ability supporting diverse employee populations in the US Canada and EMEA.
  • Demonstrated experience with ticketing/case management systems and HRIS (Workday strongly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of HR operational compliance, with hands-on experience supporting audits, relocations, annual acknowledgments, and statutory reporting.
  • Strong process improvement mindset, with a track record of building SOPs, documentation, and team enablement initiatives.
  • Clear, collaborative communicator with the ability to influence partners and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong ability to work with Microsoft Suite- Excel, PP, and Word.
