[adinserter block="1"] Job title: Tax Expert Company: 1800Accountant [adinserter block="1"] Job description: In this role, your key objective is to provide our sales team with information to identify each unique lead's tax needs. You will not be fulfilling any of the tax or accounting work - you will be a liaison to the sales team to identify each lead's tax needs. You will foster a better client experience by providing guidance to our sales team, identifying areas in which potential clients need tax advice and compliance support.. The ideal candidate will be an "encyclopedia of knowledge" who loves to identify at a high level, potential clients' needs. This role is best suited for an individual who is a jack of all trades, has experience in a variety of areas, and can conduct high level assessments. This role is not commission-based (this role is to provide guidance to our sales team, to help identify areas our potential clients may need tax advice and compliance on) - ultimately providing a better client experience. What does the Job Entail? Answer client tax related questions from sales representatives Conduct research when necessary to answer complex tax and accounting questions Requirements: 5+ years’ work experience in Tax Accounting Experience working with Tax, Bookkeeping, Payroll and Sales Tax Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Related Field CPA or EA preferred Experience preferred in: Engagement Planning and Budgeting Working with a variety of industries (non-profits, international/expats, trust and estates, etc) Experience in the taxation treatment of multiple states. Tax notice resolutions (income, payroll, sales tax) Entity Formation and Dissolution Bookkeeping (cash basis and light accrual based bookkeeping) Scoping and drafting tax engagement letters is preferred Who We Are: At 1-800Accountant, we believe in using business as a force for good.
