Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Processing all incoming healthcare claim forms sent by our client, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Digitalizing claim forms in a format provided by the company
- Imputing all details of the claim with high accuracy, meeting expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute established by the company
- Performing image classification, indexing, and general data entry tasks
- Reviewing and confirming all data captured is correct before submitting or completing the document
- Utilizing various systems to work on different tasks
- Working within established procedures and practices
- Collaborating with a close degree of supervision
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Data entry experience, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in typing, with a minimum of 40+ WPM
- 10-key by touch proficiency
- Experience working with automated data extraction tools
- Basic knowledge of medical claims forms (not essential)
- Experience working through VPN connections
- Basic computer knowledge, internet usage, and Microsoft applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field
- Entry-level experience in a data entry role
- Basic knowledge of medical claims forms
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
Work Environment and Culture
As a remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll have the flexibility to work from home, with a third shift schedule from 10 PM to 6 AM CST.
