Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional groups across arenaflex to design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient, and secure web and cloud applications. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and efficient web and cloud applications using Java and Java-based technologies
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
- Work independently and as part of a team to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain a high level of technical expertise
- Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed systems, including APIs, web services, and data storage solutions
- Design and implement secure, reliable, and efficient data access layers using various data storage technologies
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development
- Participate in technical discussions, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale web and cloud applications using Java and Java-based technologies
- Strong knowledge of Java, Java EE, Spring, REST, and related frameworks and technologies
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including secure coding and threat modeling
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics concepts and technologies
