As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Business Development Assistants, Business Development Managers, and other support areas to ensure seamless order processing, scheduling, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Processing orders, verifying customer information, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Overseeing a diverse range of customers, including complex cases, and escalating questions to supervisors as necessary
  • Grouping orders for largest truck loads to optimize cost savings and bracket pricing qualification
  • Requesting appointments for loads as needed and grouping customer pickup loads
  • Addressing potential order issues, gathering and tracking order details, and researching discrepancies
  • Providing timely and thorough communication with clients and customers
  • Collaborating with the supply chain team to mitigate inventory issues
  • Participating in scheduled calls with Hormel/Customer, providing feedback and insight
  • Communicating regularly with management to advise on critical issues or opportunities
  • Performing training and vacation/out-of-office backup duties

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize duties with minimal supervision, and execute detailed work to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with a focus on Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and inventory control
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
