About the Role: Customer Service Advocate

In this critical position, you will serve as a trusted advisor and problem solver, helping clients, customers, and healthcare providers navigate our services and benefits. Your expertise will focus on addressing inquiries related to medical and dental procedures, office and hospital visit costs, and claims payments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear explanations and guidance on our business operations, ensuring that customers understand our services and benefits.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, aiming for first-call resolution whenever possible.
  • Act as an advocate for health and wellness, educating customers about disease management programs and recommending healthy living initiatives tailored to their needs.
  • Utilize your toolkit and resources to address customer inquiries, escalating complex issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.

What You Bring to the Table:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and resolving customer problems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to multitask independently and efficiently on a computer.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is a significant plus, demonstrating your familiarity with the healthcare sector.
