Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Support Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, chats, and SMS messages. If you're a customer-focused individual with strong technical knowledge and basic trouble-shooting skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, chats, and SMS messages in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful solutions to customer issues, escalating complex problems to senior support staff as needed
  • Utilize Zendesk to track and resolve customer issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical skills to provide effective support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of customer support experience in a higher education or related industry

  • Moderate technical knowledge and basic trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple customer issues simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Zendesk or similar customer support software
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with higher education products and services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
