Job Responsibilities:
As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels
- Utilizing arenaflex's solution information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment and enter information into the proper system
- Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering top-off orders for processing
- Investigating to obtain missing prescription data and deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes)
- Resolving all data entry-related exceptions
- Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolving outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as needed
- Resolving Outside Exceptions by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements
- Making phone calls to guarantors and others to acquire data, gain supersede endorsement, or otherwise resolve Outside Exceptions
- Providing support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas
- Recognizing and conveying issues to senior-level staff as necessary
- Acquiring a dynamic specialist permit or accreditation within the initial 90 days and maintaining a current expert permit or certification
Essential Qualifications:
* High School Certificate or GED
- Essential level computer skills (e.g., starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online)
- Essential web search skills to include opening a program, writing in URLs in the right area, using a web search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online
- Middle-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports)
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally
- 18 years old or older
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction
- Halfway to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports)
- Familiarity with Spanish and English
