In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, processing transactions, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Registers sales on assigned sales register, provides clients with considerate, fair, and professional checkout service
  • Utilizes pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication data and process prescriptions
  • Engages clients and patients by greeting them and offering help with items and services
  • Resolves client issues and answers questions to ensure a positive client experience
  • Models and offers client support best practices with all colleagues to deliver a particular and brilliant client experience
  • Recommends items available for purchase to clients and suggests exchange up as well as sidekick items
  • Registers client purchases on assigned sales register, collects cash, and disseminates change as mentioned
  • Keeps counters and retires clean and well-promoted, takes stock, and maintains records
  • Performs obligations as assigned by Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data
  • Reports, immediately, prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Organization policies and procedures corresponding to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • Strong numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control
  • PTCB certification (preferred)

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Previous work experience with arenaflex
