Job Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Keying, scanning, and transcribing a high volume of data from various sources into our computer database with accuracy and efficiency
  • Researching, analyzing, and sorting information as needed to ensure data integrity
  • Reviewing data being entered from source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Investigating discrepancies, filling gaps in incomplete records, and resolving other problems that may arise
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or concerns related to data entry

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent Typing Skills: You should have a strong typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum of 10-key alphanumeric speed test.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: You'll need to be able to prioritize tasks, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: You should be meticulous in your work, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to Work Independently: You'll be working remotely, so you should be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, and have knowledge of other computer applications.
  • Familiarity with Office Equipment: You should be familiar with office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and dictation machines.
  • Good Communication Skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with our team, providing feedback and resolving problems.
  • High School Diploma/GED: You should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Data Entry Experience: You should have previous experience in data entry, with a strong understanding of data entry principles and practices.
