Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Property and Casualty insurance expert, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to our policyholders via telephone, email, and direct mail. Key Responsibilities

  • Contact policyholders to review policies, update information, and provide counsel on coverage options, policy limits, and payment plans
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries, documenting all activity in our EPIC system
  • Utilize knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
  • Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies
  • Process changes to policies, submit changes to specific companies, and follow up to ensure timely processing
  • Review policy information, reference company-specific claims procedures, and assist insured in filing claims
  • Mail insured documentation, follow up on returns, and recognize cross-sell opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
  • A Property and Casualty insurance license (required)
  • A Membership license (preferred) or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and insurance companies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide creative solutions
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
