Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that meet those needs. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement large-scale data solutions that drive business growth and innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain high-quality data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines
- Ensure high functional productivity and quality of solutions to meet SLAs and support obligation to our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)
- Be a functioning member and supporter of agile/scrum practice to guarantee wellbeing and cycle enhancements for your group
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our data solutions remain cutting-edge and innovative
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data solutions
- Strong experience with SQL, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
- Experience with distributed systems, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipelines
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and version control systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data solutions
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with data science and machine learning, including the development of predictive models and data visualizations
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
