Experienced Remote LTC Data Entry Technician – Patient-Centered Care in Senior-Living and Post-Acute Settings

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and team-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription orders and medical records. Responsibilities:

As a Remote LTC Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
  • Contacting clients for verification of orders as needed
  • Processing all new and refill prescriptions
  • Opening orders as needed, verifying eligibility, proof, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
  • Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to your manager
  • Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
  • Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
  • Assisting with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests
  • Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
  • Answering incoming calls promptly and providing a high standard of customer service to clients

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
  • Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year

  • Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
