As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission and exceed our customers' expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting customers via phone or in person, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and concerns.
  • Reviewing confidential tax information and maintaining a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies to educate and advise internal and external customers.
  • Providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer requests.
  • Supporting customers with online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center, utilizing advanced technology to provide seamless and efficient support.
  • Utilizing excellent communication skills to provide knowledgeable and accurate information in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Staying up-to-date with revised policies, procedures, regulations, and tax laws to maintain a high level of expertise and provide accurate guidance to customers.

Minimum Entry Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing information.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
  • Experience working in a high-volume contact service environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or a second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Requirements

To ensure a smooth onboarding process and maintain a secure work environment, you must:
  • Pass a thorough background check.
  • Obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes.
