Job Summary

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure timely turnaround and exceptional client satisfaction. This is a remote opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to work from home with a 34-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers

  • Enter data expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigate efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
  • Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work completed and quality metrics

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following qualifications:

Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates

+ High school diploma or equivalent

Required Level of Experience

+ 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Strong data entry/typing skills (8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate required) + Excellent attention to detail + High degree of accuracy + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
