We are seeking an experienced Associate Data Engineer to join our team, working remotely from home. As an Associate Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in the design and deployment of data engineering solutions. You will be responsible for providing technical support, developing scientific solutions, and updating systems to accommodate changes. Your expertise will be essential in driving automation into regular activities, ensuring the highest standards of product design that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the components of our data engineering pipeline, including container-based services managed through UIs, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and Shell, with code managed in GitHub and deployed through Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with our production support team to guarantee the best expectations of product design that meet client requirements.
  • Test and troubleshoot data pipelines using test and live client data, utilizing Jenkins, Python, and Java to automate these tests, and parse logs to determine next actions.
  • Utilize dashboards for Kubernetes/OpenShift to analyze high-level issues and ensure services are robust.
  • Support performance monitoring post-go-live and work with the performance team to modify support.
  • Collaborate with data providers to clarify requirements and eliminate obstacles.
  • Drive automation into regular activities and perform other work duties as directed by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and have experience in data engineering, analysis, or a related field. You should have knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and products.
