Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk / Typing Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards and your ability to move through varying programs
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Filling in spreadsheets with potentially large numbers of figures without mistakes, ensuring that data is up-to-date and accurate
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and correcting any discrepancies
  • Updating existing data in a timely and efficient manner
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by clients or internal teams
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost or misplaced
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data security principles at all times

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk (although not required, it is highly preferred)
  • Fast typing skills with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • A level of comfort with word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Good command of English both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
