As a remote Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with hospitals and healthcare providers to resolve billing inquiries, assist patients, and provide seamless support.
Responsibilities
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, handling billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assisting patients effectively by clarifying questions and ensuring they receive the information they need
- Problem-solving champion: Working through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary
- Data entry specialist: Maintaining accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital's computer system
- Connects callers seamlessly: Routing incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Epic Software experience highly preferred
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance
- Ability to undergo a criminal background check, prove ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts, and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well)
- Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed - Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable
- Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer
