Job Overview

We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about technology and customer service to fill the role of Service Desk Specialist/Live Chat Agent. As a critical member of our team, you will provide Tier I support and assistance to users of our mobile application, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your expertise in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and incident management will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to users of our mobile application through live chat and other communication channels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the myColorado application on both iOS and Android operating systems
  • Install and configure the myColorado software on supported devices, following established procedures and guidelines
  • Employ incident management procedures to enter tickets into our tracking system, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and report defects, providing detailed information to facilitate prompt resolution
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates in mobile technology, applying this knowledge to improve our support services

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least one year of professional experience in a field related to mobile application support, such as technical support, customer service, or a similar role
  • OR an Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment, such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or other related technical degrees

Substitutions

In some cases, we may consider substitutions for the required education or experience. These may include:

  • Additional paid or unpaid experience in a related field, which can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
  • Additional education in a related field, which can substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications
  • Relevant training or certification related to the work assigned to the position, which can be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Jira, a popular project management and issue tracking tool
  • ITIL Certification, demonstrating expertise in IT service management
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, which are widely used in software development and project management
  • Government work experience, which can provide valuable insights and skills in working with public sector organizations
  • Knowledge of the Apple and Google Play Store, including app development, deployment, and management
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and a broad understanding of various mobile device makes and models

Compensation and Perks
