The Manager State & Higher Education Role

As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll join our Business Department and play a key role in executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
  • Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to SLED managed travel accounts
  • Identifying candidates, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and increase sales in SLED managed travel accounts

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Field Government Account Managers, portfolio management, and other stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration with State, Local, and Higher Education institutions
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure sales teams are equipped to meet the needs of SLED managed travel accounts
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth

Essential Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field

  • Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing sales
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in the managed travel industry, with a strong understanding of SLED managed travel accounts

  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans, with a focus on driving business growth and increasing sales
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in CRM systems, sales analytics, and other relevant tools
