Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Practicing good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration
  • Taking ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offering viable solutions, providing expert advice on our products and services
  • Continuously learning and staying up-to-date on our product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
  • Operating all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion, with a willingness to teach and mentor others
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and excellence
  • Performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the success and growth of our team and organization

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Outstanding phone skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation, with a valid driver's license (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous retail sales experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience with point-of-sale devices, copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and laminating machines
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date
  • Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field
