Experienced Data Engineer – Cloud-Based Data Pipeline Development and Support

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and supporting cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring the seamless flow of data across our Media business.

Job Summary
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines that drive business insights and decision-making. You'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business. Your expertise in data engineering, cloud computing, and data analytics will enable you to make a significant impact on our organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and support cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data solutions, and implement data pipelines
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set designs, and data visualization tools
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security through data validation, testing, and monitoring
- Work with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality data insights and recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and cloud computing
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS
- Strong understanding of data set design and data modeling
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with Docker and containerization
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, with experience in AWS
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and data science frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of data governance and data security best practices
