Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Pharmacy Technician to lead and support our front-end pharmacy technician team in our closed-door pharmacy. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of best-in-class customer support to our long-term care, assisted living, and chronic care customers. You will work closely with our senior technicians, pharmacists, and pharmacy leaders to coordinate daily production, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

Day in the Life

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your day will be filled with a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
• Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
• Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
• Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns
• Working alongside pharmacists to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing orders and prescriptions
• Assisting with data entry, processing, and other support tasks as needed

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

• Minimum: $18.50
• Maximum: $34.60

Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification
