About the Role
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing cloud-based data pipelines that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to develop and maintain data sets, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouse solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. Your expertise will be essential in helping us navigate the complexities of large-scale data processing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with Data Science team to develop and maintain data sets, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouse solutions
- Develop and implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools like Docker and GitLab
- Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of data pipelines and applications
- Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base for data pipelines and applications
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Docker, GitLab, and other DevOps tools
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS
- Experience with source control tools like GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with automated workflow schedulers
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality concepts
- Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
