Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Associate, you'll be responsible for engaging with our community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos. Your primary goal will be to provide an excellent experience for every user, answering their questions, troubleshooting issues, and working collaboratively with our cross-functional teams to evolve our platform. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to live chats, phone calls, and emails from veterinary professionals in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshooting issues and resolving customer complaints in a fair and efficient manner
  • Collaborating with our cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Providing platform demos and training to new users
  • Staying up-to-date with platform updates and new features
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience
  • 2 Year Associate's Degree or 4 Year College Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in chat support is preferred, but not required
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities
  • A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed
  • A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in a tech or start-up environment
  • Knowledge of intercom and/or experience with other chat platforms
  • A strong background in veterinary medicine or a related field
