Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading our customer service team and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. You will be working in a 9-hour shift, five days a week, including weekends, and will be required to travel to our Mumbai office for business requirements or company/team events. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to inbound customer requests via email and CRM, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer queries and concerns.
  • Taking ownership of the customer experience, influencing customer decisions to buy, renew, or expand services, and maximizing customer satisfaction through accurate and timely resolution.
  • Exhibiting strong teamwork, punctuality, and problem-solving skills daily, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve allied organizational goals and projects.
  • Deeply understanding customer needs and requirements, and providing them with the best-suited price, service, and delivery options from the outset.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving client complaints and other general account inquiries in a single customer interaction, creating promoters and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Handling all customer service tickets and providing resolution to queries regarding editing, translation, and publication support requirements, escalating complex issues when appropriate.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with English being mandatory and other languages being welcome.
  • 0-2 years of work experience, with prior experience in customer service being preferred.
  • A service-oriented and customer-first mindset, with a strong desire to help and use your communication, persuasion, and people skills to achieve operational and team results.
  • A collaborative working spirit, with the ability to work seamlessly across teams and functions to resolve sticky situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, with the ability to work with global teams and maintain a positive attitude even under pressure.
