Job Summary

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. You will also be required to develop and maintain a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

* Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, responding promptly and professionally to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless communication between customers and dealerships
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of our products and services, staying up-to-date with new releases, updates, and industry trends
  • Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
  • Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights for dealership improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary

  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience a plus
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Availability to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday-Saturday between 10:00am-6:30pm CST, and work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
