Job Overview

The Translation Program Specialist will be responsible for managing the translation process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of translations to support our customer service operations. This is a remote/virtual role that requires a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and adhering to tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving both the customer and content author experience, with a strong focus on delivering incremental projects and tactical work that contribute to a world-class localization function within arenaflex Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive daily translation/localization requests from internal teams and stakeholders, and manage these requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Create and manage translation projects in the arenaflex Translation Management System (ATMS) by outsourcing to vendors, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Coordinate and communicate project delivery timelines based on project volumes, and translation/review process needs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
• Troubleshoot issues or questions regarding target audience, file type, and business requirements, providing solutions and support to internal teams and vendors as needed.
• Respond to linguistic queries from translation vendors, request feedback from internal stakeholders, and coordinate with vendors for implementation, ensuring that all translations meet the required standards.
• Use project management methodology, including risk management, to plan, scope, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the business.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and localization, with excellent business communication skills and experience working in a global, cross-functional, multilingual team.
