About the Role

As an Enterprise Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our clients and helping shape the future of how businesses of all sizes leverage technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure, and helping clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to our top customers, helping them understand and incorporate AI accelerators into their universal cloud strategy through recommending migration paths, integration techniques, and application architectures that incorporate arenaflex Cloud AI optimized infrastructure
  • Demonstrate how arenaflex Cloud is differentiated, highlighting the power of accelerators by working with clients on proof-of-concepts, demonstrating features, optimizing model performance, profiling, and benchmarking
  • Build repeatable assets to enable other clients and internal teams
  • Influence arenaflex Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for corporate customer requirements
  • Travel to customer sites and events as needed

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure
  • Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
  • Experience delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions that are aligned with the customer with defined scope and success criteria

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience training and fine-tuning large models (e.g., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators
  • Experience running MLPerf benchmarks
  • Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard)
  • Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance versus costs
  • Designing/architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
  • Ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions

Compensation and Benefits

The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $125,000 - $250,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. In the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
