Help Desk Specialist, Mid The Opportunity: Provides in-depth support and leads problem solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications. Applies advanced skills and extensive technical expertise or full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members. You Have:

• Experience with serving customers who need technical assistance via phone or email
• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical hardware or software issues, and providing quick resolution and customer service
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelors degree and 8+ years of experience with IT, or Masters degree and 6+ years of experience with IT
• Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working with help desk issues in a classified environment
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
• Experience coding using Java
• Experience with PostgreSQL and testing
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
