Job Overview

The Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative at arenaflex is responsible for supporting healthcare providers by addressing their inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, billing, clinical authorizations, and behavioral health. This role involves navigating various systems, resolving complex issues, and communicating effectively with providers through phone and chat. As a representative of arenaflex, you will demonstrate accountability and ownership in resolving issues, ensuring that providers receive timely and accurate information to deliver the best possible care to their patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the advocate for providers by demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to providers in a multi-channel environment, including call and concurrent chat, to ensure timely and effective resolution of inquiries and issues.
  • Quickly and appropriately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, prioritizing urgent matters and ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Seek to understand and identify the needs of the provider, answering questions and resolving issues through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Research and dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues to avoid repeat calls and provider dissatisfaction, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the provider.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple internal partners to ensure timely resolution of issues, leveraging the expertise and resources of the arenaflex team to deliver exceptional support to healthcare providers.
  • Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools for faster resolution, promoting the adoption of innovative solutions and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and communication.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, with a minimum of 1+ years of customer service experience in analyzing and solving customer concerns.
  • Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new systems, with a strong proficiency in typing at a speed of 35-40+ WPM with 90% accuracy.
  • Ability to work any full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shift between 10:35 AM - 7:05 PM CST, with occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology, demonstrating a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its complexities.
