Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Overnight Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front-end pharmacy team, you will perform critical order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.

A Day in the Life

As an Overnight Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

• Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing
• Provide dispensing pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
• Create and maintain accurate customer records
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless medication dispensing and exceptional customer service

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour.
