Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews and insurance intake forms
- Extracting data and entering information into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
- Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure timely case resolution and address any questions or concerns
- Utilizing critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry tasks
- Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
- Collaborating with the team to meet and exceed productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of remote work experience in data entry or a related field
- Previous experience working in a high-volume metrics-based environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
Schedule:
As a remote team member, you will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. You will be required to complete Microsoft Word and Excel assessments as part of the onboarding process.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $16.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits, and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Work Environment:
