Responsibilities:

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews and insurance intake forms
  • Extracting data and entering information into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
  • Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure timely case resolution and address any questions or concerns
  • Utilizing critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry tasks
  • Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
  • Collaborating with the team to meet and exceed productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of remote work experience in data entry or a related field
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume metrics-based environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred

Schedule:

As a remote team member, you will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. You will be required to complete Microsoft Word and Excel assessments as part of the onboarding process.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits, and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include:

Work Environment:
