Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with our business stakeholders, application owners, and other engineers to deliver high-quality results and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy Java-based software applications using Spring, REST, and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs
- Work independently to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality code standards
- Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed systems, including web applications and APIs
- Design and implement data storage solutions using relational and NoSQL databases
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of software applications
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, application owners, and engineers
- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, including Spring, REST, and other relevant technologies
- Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks, including JUnit and TestNG
