About the Role
As a member of the Borrower Success Team at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate the company's tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the first point of contact for users and providing exceptional support to ensure their success. This remote, full-time contractor role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring in NYC based on performance and company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of arenaflex's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the student loan landscape
- Engage with borrowers via email and live chat, providing empathetic and clear support to ensure their success and resolve any issues that may arise
- Review and submit applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all interactions
- Proactively suggest and implement ideas and automations that can help scale the team, driving efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the role
- Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, creating new features and offerings that meet the evolving needs of borrowers
- Work closely with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning with arenaflex's social mission and values
Recommended Experience and Qualifications
arenaflex is seeking teammates with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their talents in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue of our time.
